MOON GAZING Hare Necklace

The hare is associated with the spring goddess Eostre. They are generally shy creatures but in Spring they can be seen ‘boxing’ and chasing one another around meadows. Ancient belief was that seeing a moon gazing hare would bring growth, re-birth, and abundance, new-beginnings and GOOD FORTUNE.

 
I have enamelled a 3D Silver Hare Charm (250mmhigh) and added a faceted MOONSTONE Charm Bead which I have wire wrapped and hung on an 18” STERLING SILVER Chain and bail.

 
MOONSTONE is linked to the CROWN Chakra and is said to give inspiration and offer protection to travellers.
