FOR the LOVE of DOGS Statement Necklace
I have created this piece using vintage collectible brooches featuring artwork by renowned wildlife and conservationist Polly Pickering, I have mounted these on Mother of Pearl vintage buttons from my collection. I have wire wrapped vintage brass beads to finish the piece. The necklace is 18" (46cms long) with a 2" (5cm) extension providing additional length. The necklace is part of my one of a kind KARA ARTA Collection made here in my studio close to the sea in Cornwall. Only ONE in the world!

KARA ARTA is Cornish for 'LOVE AGAIN'. Unique jewellery using vintage, antique and found materials. Vintage/Antique items may show minimal signs of wear in their previous life.

My passion is to repurpose once loved vintage and antique items and found objects, largely from in and around Cornwall often marrying with sterling silver, gemstones pearls and sometimes sea glass creating new pieces to treasure. The stunning coastline and the flora and fauna of the county is a source of inspiration, not to mention the myth and legend of smugglers and pirates in bygone days.
