Victoria Necklace

I have selected various VINTAGE/ANTIQUE materials from my collection to create the focal area of this unique statement necklace, various vintage buttons including two vintage British Railway uniform buttons also feature. I have also incorporated an Art Deco earring to the bottom centre and 80’s earrings to each side for extra interest. The necklet is made up of faux vintage pearls and carved JET Victorian beads. Each individual item is wired to a metal frame which I have backed with felt. The necklace is finished with a STERLING SILVER Lobster Claw Clasp and extension chain.

JET Beads measure 20mm, 16mm and 14mm respectively.

My passion is to re-purpose once loved vintage and antique jewellery, largely found in and around Cornwall marrying with sterling silver, gemstones, pearls and sometimes sea glass creating new pieces to treasure. The stunning coastline and the flora and fauna of the county is a source of inspiration, not to mention the myth and legend surrounding the county, together with tales of smugglers and pirates in bygone days. Each unique design is created in my studio close to the sea in Mevagissey.
